Asia Shipping Certification Services (Shanghai) Co., Ltd (ASCS CLASS) was established in 2017. It established a regional headquarters in Shanghai, China in 2020 and obtained the opening approval of the Maritime Administration of the Ministry of Transport of China in 2022;

It is an international classification society and a recognised organisation, which has been authorized by flag state such as Sierra Leone, Mongolia, Guinea-Bissau, Sao Tome and Principe   to provide statutory certification and classification survey and other services for authorised flag state;

In recent years, international shipping has flourished, and more and more domestic trade shipowners have turned to international trade.
